Meet the Founder: Amy Stevens

Hi, I’m Amy Stevens, the founder of My Beloved Sunshine, and I am honored to share a bit of my story with you. I am a Registered Nurse by profession, a calling that has allowed me to care for others and serve in meaningful ways. But over three years ago, God planted a seed in my heart that would grow into something even greater—a vision for My Beloved Sunshine.

As a nurse, I have seen firsthand the power of compassion and how even small acts of kindness can bring light to the darkest situations. This deeply inspired me, and I began praying for a way to extend that light beyond my profession. Little did I know, God was preparing me for a journey that would impact lives far beyond what I could imagine.

The idea for My Beloved Sunshine came during a season of reflection, prayer, and faith. I felt a strong calling to create a space where people could find hope, encouragement, and community—a place rooted in God’s love and grace. My Beloved Sunshine is more than just a nonprofit; it’s a ministry built on faith, designed to remind everyone of their unique worth in Christ.

This vision has truly been a labor of love. From dreaming and planning to seeing it take shape, I’ve leaned on God every step of the way. Today, My Beloved Sunshine stands as a testament to His faithfulness.

Through this nonprofit, we aim to serve and uplift others through small groups, outreach events, and resources that bring comfort and inspiration. Whether it’s sharing scripture, offering support during tough times, or simply walking alongside one another, we are here to reflect God’s light in the lives of others.

When I’m not working as a nurse or leading this nonprofit, you’ll often find me spending time with my family, enjoying nature, or diving into scripture to strengthen my faith. I am constantly learning and growing, and it brings me great joy to witness how God uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes.
